About Us

Wilton Firefighters Local 2233 was founded on May 13th 1973, with 10 original members. For more than 40 years now, Local 2233 has striven to ensure the wellness and safety of our members, the number of which has grown to 26 professional firefighters and fire marshals. We are proud to provide 24-hour fire, rescue, emergency medical service, and hazardous materials mitigation to the people of Wilton, Connecticut.

Wilton Firefighters Benevolent Fund

Our benevolent fund, established to support Wilton Firefighters in times of sickness, injury, or dire need, is made possible by generous donations from the general public. The Wilton Firefighters Local 2233 conduct fundraising drives to benefit the benevolent fund. Your continued support for your fire fighters is greatly appreciated.

Our Leadership

The executive board of Local 2233 is comprised of four positions:

President

Firefighter/EMT Dave Chaloux

Firefighter Chaloux has been president of Local 2233 Since 2010, a member of the local since 1999, and has been on the executive board since 2000.

Firefighter Blatchley has been Vice President of Local 2233 since 2016, a member of the local since 2013, and has been on the executive board since 2016.

Firefighter Scarpetti has been Secretary of Local 2233 since 2017, a member of the local since 2015, and has been on the executive board since 2017.
