The Conroe Professional Firefighter's Association, Local 2731 was chartered by the International Association of Firefighters on October 5, 1979.

General Information

The CPFA was established on October 5, 1979 to better ensure the working rights, safety and benefits of the professional firefighters of the City of Conroe.

The CPFA was originally chartered by only 10 Conroe firemen and today it has grown to over 120 members!

The CPFA Local 2731 is a proud affiliate of the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) and the Texas State Association of Firefighters (TSAFF).

Mission Statement

The mission of the CPFA is the serve the professional firefighters of Conroe and to ensure that they will always have a safe working environment, which includes: training, equipment, up-to-date policies and procedures and proper staffing levels. Conroe firefighters will maintain a competitive salary, will be provided with adequate civil service protection and competitive benefits.

All of these issues add up to better serve our #1 priority: the citizens and visitors of Conroe, Texas!!

Station One Adopted

Last year we were lucky enough to be chosen by Gardner Denver in Conroe to have our Station 3 "adopted." Since then they have provided our firefighters with some wonderful workout equipment, big screen televisions and other things to make our life at the station more enjoyable.

A ceremony was held at Fire Station #1 on January 13, 2020 for firefighters Brockton King and Brian Smith as they both completed their one-year probationary period.

Keeping Even More Kids Warm

Local 2731 members were on hand to give 100 Anderson Elementary students a new jacket to protect them from the winter cold through the nonprofit Conroe Professional Firefighters Foundation’s Coats for Kids event.
