The Coventry Professional Firefighters is made up of members from the Central Coventry Fire District and the Coventry (Anthony) Fire District.

Our Stations

The Central Coventry Fire District (CCFD) covers a geographic range of 26 square miles in Coventry and serves a population of about 25,000 residents. CCFD responds to approximately 3500 - 4000 emergencies per year. 

CCFD operates out of 2 stations.  Station 4 on Arnold Rd houses Engine 4 and Rescue 4.  Station 7 on Flat River Rd houses Engine 7, Rescue 7, and Marine 7.

The Coventry (Anthony) Fire District responds to approximately 2500 - 3000 emergencies per year.

CFD operates our of 1 station on Washington Street and houses Engine 1, Rescue 1, Ladder 1, and a Special Hazards.

Man's body found at scene of house fire

A man was found dead after a fire broke out at a Coventry home early Thursday morning. Crews responding to a home at the corner of Read Avenue and Ernest Street just before 4 a.m. found heavy flames quickly ripping through the first floor.
